Into month three of 2021, and so far all I can say about it is that it’s pretty bloody cold. Seriously, can someone turn the sun on now? We’ve finished with Winter. Thanks.
The only other thing I can say about it is that it’s proven to be a good reading month again, both with the amount of books I read, and the quality of the books I read too. I had my February TBR to stick to as best as planned, but I did end up diverted from it when it came to a couple of books.
The first change was down to a mistake with the Shadowhunters readalong. I didn’t actually need to read a book to catch up; we were all ready to go onto the same book, The Red Scrolls of Magic. I had so much fun talking about it with Fi and Ellie as we went along, and while I’m still making my way through The Infernal Devices series myself on the side, we’ll be progressing through the rest of the series together, which is really wonderful. They’re both brilliant people and bloggers, so to be working through these books together is exciting.
I also didn’t manage to read A Court of Frost and Starlight, because I ended up finishing The Red Scrolls of Magic while waiting on book delivery for A Court of Silver Flames. Naturally that was a bigger priority so I decided to just dive on in.
My piece on Isoldesse ended up being an interview rather than a review which changed my plans with that book, and I read more than my planned one Rivers of London book.

What an awesome reading month! I love The Infernal Devices (though it may be the only part of the Shadowhunters world that I really enjoy oops) – but I haven’t read any of the other books on your list. I do hope to read The Gilded Ones though!!
