WWW Wednesday – 17th Macrh 2021

Another week, another Wednesday! Welcome, welcome. Come on in, pull up a chair, kettle is on and coffee is boiling. Let’s just escape from the world for a little bit. I bloody wish

Today I’m going to be looking at recent reading by asking three simple questions:

  • What have you recently finished reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What are you planning on reading next?

Last week on WWW Wednesday, I talked about the same as the above, and mentioned that alongside my March TBR, I’d also made the last minute decision to jump on to Trope-ical Readathon, so I’m doing my best to combine the two, as well as still allowing myself to do some reasonable amount of mood reading, which is my natural state.

What have you recently finished reading?
On Monday I finished reading A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire. I wasn’t sure whether this book could be as could as the book before it, From Blood and Ash, but it absolutely was. I loved every single page and I’ve been raving at everyone I possible can about it since finishing it. It’s easily become a new favourite series, and I can’t wait for book three, The Crown of Gilded Bones, due out next month. I’ve got a major book hangover.

What are you currently reading?
As always I’m reading multiple books. I’m still reading The Vanishing Stair because it’s been a busy week, and I’m halfway through City of Fallen Angels for the next Shadowhunter Saturday at the end of the month. I’m also listening to Legendborn as an audio book.

What are you planning on reading next?
I’m still planning on reading The Wolf Den, but I’m nearly in need of a new audiobook, and I haven’t made a decision about what that’s going to be just yet! I’m really struggling to shake off this book hangover from AKOFAF, so any suggestions that might burst me out of bubble would be great!

Thanks for stopping by. Happy reading, bookworms!

  1. I am so, so excited to read From Blood and Ash. I just know I am going to love it and I finally bought the first two books a couple of weeks ago and now they are on my shelf I have no excuse at all. I just need more time. I recently watched Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (for the millionth time) and I am convinced that I need a time-turner to fit in all the reading I want to do!
