It’s the last day of March, and we’re heading towards better things as far as as things are promising, and I’m planning on staying hopeful. My health isn’t great so I need something to feel positive about, so there’s no harm in holding old for some good news! It’s been a bit of a rough week and I’ll be glad to see a new week, I’ll be honest. That said, it’s been a good week for squeezing in a last bit of reading for this month so that’s been nice.
With it being Wednesday again, it’s time for WWW Wednesday. As always, WWW Wednesday looks at your recent reading habits by asking three simple questions:
- What have you recently finished reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What are you planning on reading next?
What have you recently finished reading?
My most recent finished read is Tunnel of Bones, the second book in the Cassidy Blake series by Victoria Schwab. These books kind of wobble on the line of Middle Grade to Young Adult, which is exactly what my son is reading at the moment, so while my initial plan was to read them for my son, I found I enjoyed the first book so much I decided to keep going with the series. I can’t wait for us to discuss them together.
What are you currently reading?
Book number one is I Hoper You’re Listening. I’m listening to this as an audiobook with about an hour left on it that I can’t wait to finish because it’s been a wild ride of a book. I’ve had this on my TBR for so long, it’s great to finally dig into it, and I’m enjoying it so much.
Book two is Pride and Premeditation. This is a twist on P&P… just not one that you’ve seen before. I’m taking part in a blog tour for this next week, so keep your eyes peeled. This is one for you if you like historical crime fiction, feisty heroines, and a good dose of Lizzie reminding Darcy why she’s better than him.
What are you planning on reading next?
Well my April TBR is up, and I’ll be working my way through it as the month goes along. It’s got some great books on it, and I’m particularly excited about the release of A Crown of Gilded Bones. The fact I’ve got to wait until towards the end of his month feels like a punishment! Until then I’ll be enjoying the other books I’ve got picked out.
So that’s where I’m at! It’s an interesting time for books right now. Keep checking back for daily posts! Take care. x
