Welcome back for the last WWW Wednesday for April. It’s been a weird kind of month to do with various factors, but I’ve still managed to reach a few targets that I was aiming for:
- Approaching 50 books read in 2021
- 1,2000+ views in April
- 5,000+ views this year
My health has been in flare in the last few weeks and the bug I had hoped would pass is really kicking my ass, so I’m trying to keep positive despite it being a really hard time in my life at the moment. It’s difficult, I won’t lie, and trying to balance out multiple health conditions at once is really frustrating, but I’ve found a lot of comfort in my audiobooks.
As always, WWW Wednesday is a way of looking at your recent reading habits by asking three simple questions:
- What have you recently finished reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What are you planning on reading next?

What have you recently finished reading?
Oh my GODS! This week I finished reading The Crown of Gilded Bones, the latest book in the series of From Blood and Ash. This was book three and I’ve read books one, From Blood and Ash, and two, A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire, and given them both five stars. This was no exception, and is possibly my favourite of the series. I can’t believe we’ve got to wait for the next one to come out now, this is the problem with reading a series in real time. But it was amazing, and I can’t wait to rave about it in my review.
What are you currently reading?
I’m currently reading two books. I’ve got a couple of hours left in my audiobook of The Court of Miracles and because we decided as a trio to delay Shadowhunter Saturday, I’ve got a few chapters left in City of Lost Souls when I’m feeling up to reading a physical book. It’s been nice to tick two books off my list in the last few days and I’m hoping to finish these two both by the end of the month if I can.
What are you planning on reading next?
I might move on to Sunkissed as it’s my next blog tour that I’m reading a book for. Equally I have some really excited books on my NetGalley TBR (you can find my latest list here) and I might dig into those. I’m having some problems with my tablet so I’m hoping those will pass!
Well, that’s the end of Wednesdays in April. See you next in May!
