August 2021 Wrap Up

Hello hello and welcome or welcome back to my little bookish corner of the internet. Somehow August has finished, and we’re into the last quarter of the year. I also hit my Good Reads challenge target of 100 books this months, which has made me really happy, as last year I only managed around 70ish books in the whole year. Audiobooks have been a blessing in getting this done while my eyes have been holding me back, but I’m managed a lot of physical and ebooks as well, more than I thought I’d manage, and the change in glasses perscription has made a big difference to making this happen.

This month ended up being really successful, and when I hit book number 100 of the year on the 21st, I was on a steadily moving roll that didn’t slow down!

So, seventeen books read this past month! I’m pretty pleased with that. It’s been a bit of a range scoring wise, from two stars to a full five stars. It’s impossible to say whether Defy the Night or The Appeal takes top spot for the month because they’re both absolutely superb, and also completely different books. Reviews of both of them are coming up shortly, and Defy the Night is out later this month; I can’t tell you enough how much you need to preorder it!

Let’s see how September goes shall we?

Tomorrow I’ll be bringing you a review of Geekerella, and then Sunday, my review of D.O.G.S. Stick around for daily content!
