You Do Not Yeild – An Attempt At Returning…

Hello hello, and welcome or welcome back to my little bookish corner of the internet. Maybe I should be extending the same welcome to myself!

Firstly, I want to thank every single one of you who has continued to support me throughout the last few months, from fellow bloggers to authors and publishers who haven’t given up on working with me despite life being so messy. Every single word of support, encouragement and kindness has gone straight to my heart, and I am eternally grateful. For those who have been put off by the break I’ve had to take, I completely understand, and I hope I can regain your faith in the coming months.

We’re still homeless, and living in the unfortunate conditions previously discussed. It’s been nearly nine months, and we’re all struggling to stay on top of… well, everything. There’s a huge mix of emotions for all of us. I miss Cassian, our cat, desperately. He’s currently living with my parents, and I cannot wait to be back to struggling write around him. We have no update as to when this will be. There’s a property we’ve been told is adapted and might suit us…. but that was six weeks ago, and there’s been no progress.

My mental health has really buckled under the pressure, as I’m sure some of you are aware. My physical health has also been poor, and I’m having an operation soon to remove a mass in my uterus, that think might be causing the constant bleeding that has been going on the entirety of this year. With all these factors combined, something had to give, and unfortunately, it ended up being blogging.

I’ve missed posting, and missed reading other posts in return, although I’ve done my best to keep up with those I follow when I’ve felt up to it. In the last weeks I’ve started venturing onto social media a little, and now – here I am.

I don’t know if this will work, or will be more pressure I have to put to one side yet again, but I’m going to give it a try. Cheers, coffee, cake, and book suggestions all welcome!
