Hello hello and welcome or welcome back to my little bookish corner of the internet. Today I’m sharing my February wrap up. There were only twenty eight days in the month, but I really managed to pack quite a lot in. Not quite as much as January (read that wrap up here), and missed off finishing one book by about an hour, much to my annoyance, but it’s my first read of March now I suppose!
I found myself reading a few more audio books this month as I squeezed a lot of crochet into the time too. I’m working on some blankets and squares for the charity Woolly Hugs (if you’re a knitter or crocheter, or a quilter, do check out their work) which is really close to my heart, and losing myself in an audiobook while I’m crafting is one of my little joys.
I’ve also been working on my own manuscript after some really helpful feedback from Elspells, whom I can’t recommend enough. I’ve been editing and making some major changes that I wouldn’t have even thought of but suddenly made it come alive so much more.
The month finished with several books unfinished as I’ve been really indecisive about what I’m reading. No fault of the books at all, most of them have been great, I’m just struggling a bit mentally at the moment, and when I do struggle I tend to bounce between books. It’s an annoying habit but my brain can – somehow – keep track of twenty different book plots but can’t remember if I took my medication at lunchtime. I suppose that’s where the ADHD comes in!
