Cassian is "helping" with the bookshelf shuffle. And by "helping", I mean he's getting in the way and looking pretty.
This week, things have been pretty rough for me, so I reached for one of my ultimate comfort genres: middle grade horror. And what better book to cheer me up than one with the ultimate found family, Dread Wood.
A big heartfelt thank you to @hotkeybooks for this copy of The Sharp Edge of Silence.
I forgot to share this delightful (and bloody cold) adventure earlier in the week. I came home with two books, both ones I was so excited for, and it was a delicious day. Admittedly I had to lay down with like six layers when I got home, but I enjoyed my time out 😌🫖📚
