Hello hello and welcome or welcome back to my little bookish corner of the internet. Today I’m sharing my WWW Wednesday post, which is a great way of looking over current reading habits with three simple questions:
- What have you recently finished reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What are you planning on reading next?

What have you recently finished reading?
Most recently, I’ve finished reading Lore Olympus Vol. #3. I’ve had the first one for ages but only sat down to read it this month, and quickly became obsessed, buying the next two volumes straight after (thank you, Waterstones sale!). It’s the kind of series that’s easy to absolutely devour, and the third one has become my favourite for various reasons that I will go into when I review it.
This week I’ve also finished reading The Gathering Dark, a horror anthology that I’ve been hoping to get my hands on for months. I finally tracked down this copy, and it was so worth the wait. I was sufficiently spooked and loved it. As is always the way with story collections, there were some I enjoyed more than others, but overall it was a fabulous read, and I’m looking forward to reviewing it.
What are you currently reading?
I’m reading multiple books right now. If you’ve ever been around my blog for one of these posts before, you will not be surprised by my reading chaos. There is order in my madness, I promise! Currently I am reading:
- The Golden Thread – Non-Fiction – Audio
- The Office BFFs – Non-Fiction – Audio
- Valentine Crow and Mr Death – MG Fiction – Physical
- Seven Faceless Saints – Fantasy – eBook
I’m also working away on my edits for a story submission competition, so I feel like I’ve read my own work enough times, it’s a shame you can’t count it on Good Reads. (Yet…?)
What are you planning on reading next?
I’ve got big reading plans…. but since when is that something new? This month, I’m really hoping to read Five Survive, and finish reading Nine Liars, which I was reading at the end of last year, and then life got in the way. I’m also on a blog tour for Going Dark, so I will be reading that once I finish Seven Faceless Saints.

So there we are, recent reading all wrapped up. Like I said above, I’ve got some big reading goals right now, so I’m hoping I can stick on track!
Tomorrow I’ll be sharing a really exciting review… The Mysterious Case of the Alperton Angels. Be sure not to miss out….

I love love love Lore Olympus — I read it on Webtoons. The story is just so well done, and the art is fantastic. I hope you enjoy all your other books that you’re reading!
